by Miriam G.Desacada TACLOBAN CITY – Vivant Energy Corporation, via subsidiary Vivant Renewable Energy Corporation, has finalized the 100% acquisition of Samar Philippines Renewable Corporation from Envision Energy Philippines Corporation. The move expands Vivant’s renewable footprint and accelerates its push into wind power in Northern Samar. SPRC is developing the 200-MW Lavezares Wind Project across Lavezares, Allen, Victoria, and Rosario in Catarman. Construction targets grid integration by end-2028. At full operation, the wind farm will: Generate ∼695 GWh of clean energy yearly, powering 190,000+ households Cut CO₂ emissions by ∼487,000 metric tons annually Deliver 36% of capacity under GEA-4, with the rest via a Retail Electricity Supplier contract The deal brings Vivant closer to its “30 by 30” renewable capacity target.
